The College is one of the 10 largest Further Education Colleges in England with some 26,000 students and around 1,500 staff. We are the only General FE college in Leicester and offer the broadest range of courses in the country, from entry level up to Higher Education.

The College is based at 4 campuses, each within 1.5 miles of the city centre:

Abbey Park
Bede Island
Freemen's Park
St Margaret's

Each campus tends to specialise in certain subject areas although some subjects are taught on more than one campus.

Leicester College also provides a wide range of learning opportunities, including basic literacy and numeracy, at over 90 locations in and around Leicester.

We also provide special facilities for the public including hair and beauty salons, the Gallery and Aylestone Restaurants, outside catering services and the Almond Suite conference and banqueting room.
