Darent Valley Lions Club

The Darent Valley Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest voluntary service organisation, and consists at present of 20 men and women willing to give of their time and energy to serve those less fortunate than themselves, particularly in and around the villages of South Darenth, Horton Kirby, Hartley, Longfield, etc, near Dartford in the county of Kent, England.  This service might be given by providing funds for a deserving cause, or by undertaking a specific service activity.  On the following pages you can see examples of the ways in which we raise money and the various ways in which we serve our local community.  The contacts page gives more details of who we are and where and when we meet.

Membership of Darent Valley Lions Club is by invitation, but is open to all and any man or woman interested in learning more about the possibility of joining us is invited to contact the Secretary.

Meetings:   1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month starting at 8.00pm.  The meeting on the 1st Tuesday is a business meeting and is held at Horton Kirby and South Darenth Village Hall, Horton Road, South Darenth, Dartford, Kent.   Click here for a detailed map.  The meeting on the 3rd Tuesday is a social occasion and the venue varies.
