Situated in the picturesque market square of Fakenham, north Norfolk, the Crown Hotel is a former coaching inn dating back to the mid seventeenth century. Ideally located in the heart of the town, the Crown Hotel is close to all local amenities including the cinema and the Aldiss superstore. Fakenham Racecourse is also within walking distance. The Crown Hotel at Fakenham is proud of its reputation for fine, comfortable accommodation which is endorsed by the English Tourist Council Four Diamond Award. The accommodation comprises single, twin and double rooms and features a four poster room for that special occasion. All the rooms are comfortably furnished and include tea/coffee making facilities.

We offer a wide range of food from a lunchtime sandwich to old favourites like home cooked ham.Our specials board may well feature Cromer crab or fresh local lobster.

We can also arrange private functions from a simple buffet to a celebration dinner. Main courses are in the region of only £10 and Light Snacks around £4.50. We have a special children's menu and children are welcome to eat with their families in either the bar or the restaurant. On Sundays, we serve a traditional Sunday lunch with all the trimmings (pre-booking is advisable) Our restaurant makes an ideal venue for private parties and we can suggest menus for up to 50 seated or 75 buffet style
