About Starline

Starline Blinds has been established since 1981, its founders, Alan Pritchard & Victor Rees started the company part time and manufactured blinds from their garages.

From these humble beginnings the company has grown to become the largest manufacturer of blinds and curtains in Wales. The company has a turnover of £2 Million and employs 40 people.

Starline Blinds manufactures Venetian Blinds, Vertical Blinds, Roller Blinds, Awnings and more recently Curtains and Wooden Venetian Blinds. The company prides itself on providing a high quality product at a competitive price.

Over the years Starline has sold blinds to over 100,000 customers who include Blue chip companies, the construction industry, local authorities, Ministry of Defence and the National Health Service. Through its dealings with these customers the company has gained vast experience in manufacturing and installing blinds & curtains in large projects throughout the UK.

More recently Starline Blinds has invested £30,000 in developing a new showroom to display the full range of blinds and curtains that we manufacture. The showroom has become extremely popular and the British Blinds and Shutters Association have recently awarded us 'Showroom of the Year'.

Starline Blinds has now launched an Online Ordering System so that anyone in the UK & Europe can browse the hundreds of colours and fabrics available and then order the desired blind online. Payment is taken using a 100% secure transaction system. The blinds will be made to your requirements and delivered to you in 5 working days.

Vertical Blinds

• Our Vertical Blinds have a white slimline headrail that is easy to use and can be installed easily into most windows.
• There is a range of over 200 vertical fabrics available in range of colours and patterns to suit every possible room settings.
• All our vertical fabrics are of the highest quality, many of them are washable, fire retardant and have anti-glare properties.
• When you order your Louvre blind with Starline Blinds it will be custom made to your dimensions with the fabric you have selected.
• Vertical blinds have two controls. The tilt control allows you to rotate the fabric (vanes) 180 degrees. This will allow you to control how much light will come into the room. The draw control allows you to pull the vanes across the blind.
• The tilt control can be positioned to the left or the right of the headrail.
• The draw control can pull the vanes to the left, right or split them in the middle.
• The vanes are available in 2 widths 89mm or 127mm.
• All of our Louvre blinds come complete with the headrail, vanes, stabilising weights and chain for the fabric and installation brackets.
• All orders for vertical blinds will be manufactured and despatched within 5 working days.

Roller Blinds

• Our Roller Blinds are available in over 200 attractive fabrics that will suit any room environment.
• All our roller blinds have a heavy-duty aluminium tube and are easily controlled using a sidewinder chain. The sidewinder control can be positioned on the left or right of the blind.
• The maximum size for a roller blind is 2500mm x 2500mm.
• Roller blinds can be ordered on-line and will be despatched within 5 working days.
• All our roller blinds come complete with a sewn bottom pocket.
• All our roller blinds can be finished with different shapes, colour co-ordinated braid and brass or wooden poles.

Venetian Blinds

• Venetian Blinds are made with high quality aluminium slating and are available with slat widths of 25mm, 35mm and 50mm.
• The 25mm Venetian blind is available with a slimline headrail and bottom rail and is colour co-ordinated with the slat colour that is selected.
• The 25mm blind uses a stylish wand to tilt the blind open and closed and a cord to pull the blind up and down.
• The 35mm and 50mm Venetian blind is available in a deluxe headrail (40mm x28mm) which is larger than the 25mm Venetian blind. These blinds come with a white headrail and bottom rail and the slats are titled using a cord.
• All Venetian blinds can be ordered on-line and custom made to your specifications. All Venetian blind orders will be despatched within 5 working days.
• The maximum blind size for Venetian Blinds is 3000mm x 3000mm.

Wooden Venetian Blinds

• Our range of Wooden Venetian Blinds are available in 25mm or 50mm.
• All our wooden Venetian blinds are made from American Basswood from a sustainable forest so they do not harm the environment.
• Most wooden blind manufacturers use Ramin, which is heavier than Basswood making the blind more prone to warping and difficult to use.
• Our wooden venetian blinds has a high quality headrail that is hidden by a colour co-ordinated valence. The bottom rail is made from Basswood and is colour co-ordinated.
• We take great care in the manufacture of wooden Venetian blinds so most orders are despatched within 10 working days.
