Jack and Cathy Emery have owned and operated The Raven since 1993 and over that time we have extended and improved the facilities that we offer our customers. We had a major refurbishment in 2001 which gave the pub a lighter warm feel although we believe that we have retained the traditional values of a village pub.

Situated on the border of North Hertfordshire and Mid Bedfordshire in the ancient village of Hexton, we are located five miles east of junction 12 M1 Toddington, five miles north of Luton and 6 miles west of Hitchin one mile east of Barton le Clay.

You have the choice of a large non smoking area or the smoking section which is very well ventilated. There is a large garden and patio area which seats up to 125. The garden has a children's play area and the seating is traditional garden benches except on the patio here we have tables and chairs for extra comfort and heaters for those cooler times.

Our range of drinks include cask ales such as Greene King IPA, Fullers London Pride, Morland Old Speckled Hen and Shepherd Neame Spitfire, a comprehensive wine list and a wide selection of spirits and soft drinks.

Our food offering is very varied and includes our famous prime extra mature scotch steaks as well as pasta, fish, daily specials and a children's menu. Please follow the links to see what's on offer.
